i made a point to watch all of mucha's matches and all i can say is....... he looked complete pants , his attitude stinks and im flabbergasted at his play acting antics (3 or 4 times on the same cheat level as rivaldo !!!)..... i dont like him at all.

Isn't that the reason we got him - to be back up to Tim?

Nash and Ruddy are backup to Tim. The only chance they'll ever get a game is if Tim is injured. The players themselves have asked for more competition for places to keep them on their toes. Mucha won't push Howard for the goalkeepers jersey, he will just be backup.

HAHAHAHA!! The same team that had Lehmann. A living breathing Tourettes stereotype.

First post after a few years of spying on you all. Just wanted to add something about Mucha because I've probably seen him play much more than most on here (I live in Poland).
First the postitives - he's a great shot stopper and seems like a nice guy off the pitch (there was a 30-minute interview with him on Polish TV recently)
However, he doesn't come off his line much for crosses, and when he does, he's often beaten to the ball by the attacker. I'd compare him a little to the Spurs goalkeeper (Gomes) when he arrived, but a poor man's version. The thing I really don't like about him though is, as uknightbreed wrote, his play acting. I've seen a few matches where even the slightest contact resulted in a few minutes of treatment (especially at the end of matches with Legia leading) - I wouldn't put him on the same level as Rivaldo, but not far behind, maybe on a par with Yakubu's dives.
I really hope he turns out to be a success because he does come across as a nice guy off the pitch, but I'm not expecting too much.

Some more things while I'm here;
I quite like pineapple on pizza but I don't drink bleach.
What happened to LCAB? I wasn't on here for a few days and he disappeared - I read somewhere there was a thread about it but I can't find it.

Welcome~!

Let's hope Moyes can make another diamond!

Every time he is being an arse I just think how much he will wind Liverpool up.

I've just realised, he wont be going to Australia...

And neither will Howard

So we're going to have to use Ruddy in goal

I know that Nash and Turner were coming to the end of their contracts. I haven't heard anything about either of them leaving though.

I guess the squad will be something like:

Ruddy, Davies, Hibbert, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Rodwell, Arteta, Bily, Neville, Osman, Wallace, Saha, Baxter, Joao, Beckford, Vaughan, Anichebe, Agard, Bidwell, Mustafi, Akpan, Jutkiewicz

I don't remember Skrtel or any other of his colleagues apart from Mucha rolling around as if someone had kicked lumps out of them. I was embarrassed to see him cowering in the back of his own net. Such histrionics is not something that I would like to see association with Everton. We're a hard but fair side.

In what way exactly am I not fitting into my own 'beloved ethic'?!

Well you attack a man who has no chance to defend his name, thats what I meant and not as an insult. It was clear what happened - the goal went in, Mucha tried to retrive the ball from the net, but the Italians clearly wanted to party with it in celebration. Sh.t was about to hit the fan as the Italians tried to equalize so he couldnt risk doing anything, the pasta lover ducked simulating a foul (claiming Mucha punched him) and started kicking about. Mucha would've simply moved away I guess, but there was no space with the net behind him so it looked as it looked. How does this prove that he doesnt have character? And yes in the other cases many of the Slovakians acted as though they were fouled, remember them taking off a player on a strecher in added on time? Anyway time will tell, if he doesnt suite Everton then Everton will sell him, its no big tragedy.

Mucha is a much much better backup than Carlo Nash, Ian Turner and John Ruddy together ;). He's the same school as Boruc and Fabianski, he's decent keeper and nice, fully professional guy.

Oh and his name should be pronounced as: Moo - ha :)
