He's been on the bench regularly this season but never seems to get mentioned in the 'next big thing' type threads that mention Baxter et al.

Does anyone know much about him? Is he on the bench for lack of serious alternatives or might he make the grade next season?

He's a centre midfielder, I know that.

Look neat and tidy in the Reserve Derby from what I saw. Haven't seen anything else of him though.

Seems to me he might play a part next season. Rodwell and Gosling spent a lot of time on the bench last season - probably gives them the opportunity to be a part of the team and analyse the game.

I think Moyes does this on purpose to give the young players a feel for the big game and atmosphere.

Ive seen him a few times and hes looked a good prospect. I think its just a matter of time until he gets a few first team minutes under his belt.

Watched him alot in the reserves. Does look good plays that holding role well and breaks it up well. Goes missing towards end of games though maybe because of his fitness.

I know his uncle quite well , his best mate at Everton is Jose Baxter , they are known amongst the ' kids ' as Wallace and Gromit !
