Total whataboutism, we're talking about 'Tarks' () Not tim or garner (garners been pretty poor the past couple weeks imo)

How can you watch him, especially at home, and not think he’s been average at best? Is it just because he scored against the RS?

No lad, just pointing out all the random abuse you are throwing at him week after week regardless of his performances have no basis in reality.

1) he’s a wild and going to get sent off.
Has only one red, early in his Burnley career
2) jumps in tackles recklessly
Others have far worse numbers of cards, and given his job, it’s a wonder he doesn’t have more.
3) he’s a liability
No more than anyone else. Constant last ditch defending will always mean something gets through eventually. More a problem with the team sitting in our own penalty area all match to soak up shots. Blame Moyes for that one.
4) he’s slow/out of position
He’s got O’Brien and Keane next to him, and has to run into all sorts of places to cover them. Garner helps on the right, but if the opposition is countering, chances are both O’Brien and Garner are down the other end of the pitch.
5) he’s slow
Probably, he isn’t getting any younger, but he’s not slowed down that much. He’s mainly looks slow because he can get out of position trying to cover multiple incoming threats.

Tarks AND Keane, and no right back with positional awareness is the problem.

That is down to Moyes.

Not only is he too wide, there's no pressure on the ball so he should be retreating (like Keane is trying) but he's square to the ball. He gets dragged out by O'Reilly and gifts the best striker in the league the run of the pitch. And there's little doubt this was picked up pre-match by Citeh and exploited when available.

Had great value from a freebie but he shouldn’t be starting next season and definately as shown by the late goals conceded recently should not be skipper imho,even at my limited playing levelmy own skipper would have the whole team switched on to ensure we didn’t concede once late on,let alone three consecutive games!!!
