Cahill was always in people's ears, giving little nudges, and he had the physicality to get away with. He must have been a real pain in the derrier to play against.

Yes, he was extremely competitive. But all within the bounds of expected behaviour on a football field (apart from throttling Xabi Alonso which was completely understandable). Don’t remember him going over the top on people or doing snide elbows.

Pickfords record is equally as bad.

Goalkeeper is a completely independent position to how a team performs as a unit. Great keepers throughout history have played for struggling teams. Great outfield players less so. Tawks has never played for a good team full of good players because he isn't a good player. Pickford has when he plays for England and he clearly belongs in that company.
