Only the top 3 have conceded less goals than us and people carrying on like he’s the worst CB we’ve ever had. Yes some of that is down to having conservative full backs and a cautious style.

He got legged by someone far quicker than him tonight it happens. I’d like to see O’Brien and Branthwaite start to build a partnership together personally, but Tarkowski gets undeserved stick.

not many, same with keane, mykolenko, gana and obrien at rb yet they are mainstays for us

Him and Keane aren't good enough to be starting for a top 10 team. Alright if you want to defend your 18 yard box but completely at sea on the half way line. Really poor in possession as well which means terrible attacks often start with an aimless punt down field.

He's become more focused on being a 'hard man' on set pieces to actually wanting to be any kind of threat towards goal. Never, ever gets on the end of corners, and you wouldn't want the ball falling to his feet in the box.

The whole Moyes' "I play big fellas at full back because it gives us an advantage on set pieces" experiment has well and truly failed, and he must be massively embarrassed. Tallest team in the division with no threat at all when the ball is put into the box.

Those corners last night were laughable. At what point might somebody have tried something different?

doesn't play well with Keane, plays better than Keane does when paired with O'Brien or Branthwaite... not exactly the formula to working out the god particle, is it!?!

We don't know if O'Brien & Branthwaite is our best pairing because someone won't play them that way

Having faster centre halves with better distribution would improve us in attack. We could push higher up the field, commit more men forward, build from the back in a more reliable manner and retain possession when clearing the ball more often. Keane and Tawks are two of our worst players. If they play a high it only takes takes one long ball for them to be in trouble.
