I'm sure some will disagree but he looks to be in decline to me. A big disappointment about not signing a RB either in the summer or in January was that we won't be able to phase Tarks out to make way for the Branthwaite and JOB centre half pairing that surely is the future of this club. That's not to say that Tarkowski doesn't have a role to play but we should be looking at succession now, imo.

I don't think many would disagree with all you've said there, mate. He is definitely in decline, but he is also a leader and we don't have many of them.
 
Worst player on the pitch by far. Everything come down his side and behind him, they’ve targeted him and he’s wilted.
They have targeted a CB a laying RB and the kid playing out of position in front of him.

What is Tarks supposed to do? Try to help out down that side or stay in position in the centre and let the crosses come flying in, which Keane passes to the opposition?

Stay in position when we have numbers on that side. You’re assuming it’s O’Brien that’s the problem, not the CB that abandons his position to give Iwobi free runs into the box.
