If the stats i read are right, he is 2 games away from the Premier League record of consecutive starts (his 111 to the 113 record). Infuriatingly bad luck. Once Everton touches you etc.

One of the best transfers in the last decade, I believe it‘s the 2nd time he‘s not playing a full game since joining us?

It's the clearest sign of just how big the drop off is from starting XI to bench. Top quality starting centre halves, League Two backups.

Was it hamstring? Didn't see it. But I strained my hamstring in February and it's still not right (not a tear though). I can walk but it's painful at times. Obviously he'll get the best treatment that money can buy, but it really made me realise how such a slight injury can take ages to heal.

Just a hunch from the way he immediately stopped moving, called for a sub but was able to walk off.

Would be a shame if it turns into a niggling thing for him, been practically invincible since he signed.
