If he doesn’t make the england squad it is criminal. Coady should be in there for what he brings amongst the squad. But tarks there for being a defender that plays like every game is a final that’s the feeling I get. What a centre half.

The Burnley style isn't going anywhere so at least he's really good at it. It's not for me, I'd prefer cutting out opportunities before they reach the stage of having to block a shot but if he's going to block every shot whatever.

Not saying he’s as good, but he makes me nostalgic about the solid defensive pairing Juventus had in the late 90’s of Montero and Ferrara, with Montero having a similar no nonsense, defending first attitude.

Not up against much competition but, yes, easily the best defender we’ve had since Jags. Actually….defends!

More likely to get injured playing for us in 2 pointless aussie games, instead of sitting on England's bench.
