We need to play to our strengths. Tarkowski and Coady alongside Godfrey compliment each other well as a 3. Godfrey’s pace compensates for the other 2 and they deal very effectively with crossed/high balls. Godfrey will probably learn a lot playing regularly with them as well, more than he will have done playing alongside Keane last season.

Agreed those 3 with a good run together would be decent

Agree - better cover for the wing backs to venture forward, and removes either Davies or McNeil from the team.

Play a few more of the kids and someone off dcl up top and It’s already better.
 
You know things are bad when your best signings are a free transfer and a loan ( we're actually more sensible without the cash )

Yeah, this has been said a lot over the last 6 years, when we were skint and actually had to think about what we were doing, things were much better.
