Wouldn't be a signing to be delighted with but the way I see it is we can't be much worse with him. If he's on a free and fits within a sensible wage structure then why not.
The concern is he seems to thrive with a low block and heroic last ditch defending - which can be great but longer term we need to stay away from that mentality. We need someone who at least has a little bit of ability on the ball.
