I’m no Benitez fanboy but surely Benitez fanboys would be enjoying Gray and Townsend who were brought in under his management and have actually been our two best attackers this season or possible even best players along with Doucoure.

What about the other crap we have to witness. He’d be a better option on the bench than anything we had Saturday, even if he isn’t arsed.

What a week. Spanked by an average mid table club. Knocked out of the cup by a mid table championship club. Let go of the most technically gifted player we have had in years who was our most creative player last season because the manager doesn't like him. Playing our new goalkeeper who appears to be invisible and our new striker who wears boots filled with lead.

And yet people are happy with all of this. Baffles me.
