One remark from a sky reporter saying he thinks he isn't leaving his hotel room today and us being blues have turned it into a bedwetters grotto and made up everything humanly possible from contractual issues to the deal is off pmsl.

Here is some Breaking news lads. Sky reporters often talk cack and get things wrong.

The 3 of them are Everton players and its just a matter of them finding a good photo of Contract Dave and then making the announcements. Everton love to make us wait and wet the bed.

Tis all good.

Once again.. there's no way he travels to Liverpool if the deal isn't as good as done. Could be agent fees being worked out or Real suddenly demanding a change to the deal.

This will happen.

It's taking longer than expected to get the Thomas Lemar deal over the line.

It is unlucky to announce three at one go so they are waiting to make it four.

Didn’t this happen though, when we tried to sign a Brazilian player or was it an Italian player
Sure they were at Goodison to sign on the dotted line

Rafael van der Vaart. In 2009, the Dutch playmaker was deemed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid. Everton contacted his lawyer and the feedback was encouraging, the player stating he would be keen to move to us. Van der Vaart was denied a squad number and was considering his options, Everton being his favoured choice, when Real Madrid decided to sell Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Klass-Jan Huntelaar and decided they may have room for van der Vaart and handed him the number 23. A source from the Bernabeu told a newspaper "(Rafael) was only ever going to go to England if he left the Bernabeu, and Everton were the only club who made direct contact. He was very positive about joining them, but all that changed when Real called him in for a meeting and said they wanted to stay." If only......
