James Milner

We wouldnt be a sideways move. Not compared to Newcastle anyway. Be surprised if we even go in for him but you never know whats round the corner.

Personally always rated the guy. Think he might get better under Moyes guidance aswell. Would have prefered Moutinho, Arshavin and the like but we know there not happening and Milner is not another Kilbane or Davies.

He's got average pace though and his best position is on the left, cutting inside onto his right foot. He's not a byline hitter.

I want different options, SWP would offer us a different option whereas Milner wouldn't. Decent player but not what we need.

You talk like we have a choice in the matter................ None of these two will sign for us!!!!!!

FACT !!!

milner ?
he is ok but nothing more imo.

just another name from an ever growing list of 'why not' signings that we wont get , wether they are good enough or not.

You may be right FortyOne but the amount of discussion on this forum as well as the rumored amount of clubs after him suggest that he might be a bit above average.

I personally think he's above average but he's sure as heck not worth 90K a week in wages.

Very good winger that sticks wide, places nice crosses, scores goals and runs his heart out. I rate this player very highly and he will free up Arteta to play centrally like I would love. He also sticks to the ball very well and is stronger than SWP.

agree totally Gaz, hes comfortable on either flank, would love to see him at goodison. Much better option than SWP.

Good winger, goot skill, good shots, good workrate, and good goals. Great player, and would be good playing for Everton.

I'd like him but he's not worth 10 million. 7 or 8 million at the most. But this is the kind of money you expect to pay.

10 million is what he'll go for, maybe a bit expensive but other teams will pay it!
His price will go up if anything, with the transfer window coming to a close.
