does anyone else remember him doing anything else memorable or even half decent

Why yes, I can. At Stamford Bridge, crosses the ball to Cahill who bicycle kicks it past Cech to tie it up in the 89th minute. Integral part of one of the most memorable plays in recent history.

I would welcome him back as a squad player, but I'm hoping to see more of our youngsters (Vellios, Guaye, Baxter, McAleiney, etc). But he's a Moyes player, he's blue, he is versatile. I'd welcome him back on a free.

I rated him, but he is too injury prone and we already have Saha for that role. Then again if we use him as a striker it might mean less time for Anichebe, which can only be a good thing. And yes I did see him against DC.

It's on a free and we have a smaller squad than the average sunday league team, why not? He might not be the best but we need more players, no two ways about it, especially if we want to challenge for the FA cup or something.

Possibly the most inconsistent player that has ever pulled on the Royal Blue jersey of Everton. Some days he can pull off some amazing things, but on others he seems un-interested.

I don't want him particularly, but if Moyes still sees something in the boy I can't really argue.
