because one semi decent 25 minute spell in 3 years doesn't mean he's suddenly boss.

Bizarre sub that, we're chasing the game, so take off the one player who might just be able to produce some magic, and put on a defensive midfielder. I also son't get why we're rushing players back into the squad who aren't fully fit yet.

Saying that, he put his foot in when he came on, not that that's great or anything.

He did what Schneiderlin can’t do. Close down with intent of getting the ball.

Schneiderin close down for the sake of closing down without actually making an effort to get close enough to win the ball back.

He must start from now on. With him and Gana playing alongside a deep lying Rooney, we will recycle a lot of possession and bring balance to the defensive side and at the same time create far more chances to launch a counterattack from unexpected position, which is higher up the pitch instead of near our penalty area. We might actually find ourselves sitting less deep than usual.

I just think he's a good player is all, and far more effective than Schneiderlin.
