Be livid if he doesn't start Monday night, him and Gueye dominated from 20 mins on. The Derby calls for aggression, can see Barry starting and McCarthy going out right instead of Valencia, I wouldn't agree with either move personally.

The only change should be Mori for Jags because it has to be. The rest should stay the same. The players that played earned it. All of them. McCarthy more than most though.

If he can regain his first season form like he did tonight we will miss Gana less when he's away and the idea of him and Gana forming a partnership with both in form would make us incredibly hard to break down.

Interesting to see how Gueye and McCarthy combined, there was a LOOOOT of energy in that midfield

4-3-3 has to be the way forward now. Gana and McCarthy flourished in the midfield and no surprise that this facilitated Barkley's best game in a while. Having a front 3 to look for is what Ross has been missing.

McCarthy has to start the Derby. Barry hasn't the legs for this formation at all.

McCarthy was great last night and we needed his aggression when we fell behind. One of the reasons we got back in to the match. Hope he can keep it up because as has been said, that was like the McCarthy that earned all the plaudits in his first season here.

He simply has to start the derby next to Gana. I know it looks as though that pairing lacks creativity. But I love nothing more than seeing a midfielder sprint into a tackle.
Give me that over a 30 yard pass any day.

The pair of them in the centre of the park allowed Arsenal no time on the ball today and this is where the game was won IMO
