Did doumbia do anything exciting?
Nobody stood out, it was a terrible game from what I recall.

It's difficult for purists like ourselves to get to worked up about Russian football I suppose. I'd rather we didn't go for McGeady, he is diabolical.Nobody stood out, it was a terrible game from what I recall.
I saw his face in the video, he didn't look like he was thinking that......trust RM to bring the right folk. Getting back on thread, good to see McCarthy joining in the Xmas video. He really must be thinking things can't better than this.
Big miss today I thought, totally ruined our "shape", Ross had to keep coming deep to do the McCarthy job and thought it left Lukaku very isolated at times.
I watched the beast a lot today, he makes some superb runs and we never seem to try and find him, its strange.
Aye. Neither Barkley or Osman is comfortable doing what McCarthy does and we missed him today. Looks like that 13 million was money well spent.

"The manager was a tactical genius on the day; I think he's got something different that a lot of managers don't have."
"I had to wait six months at Wigan to get used to the systems and the English game," he explained.
"It was the same at Everton, where I had to wait a few weeks to get my place in the first team. But Martinez has always believed in me.
"He gives you the confidence to believe you can do things. He doesn't always feel the need to scream.
"Now and again if he needs to tell you something he will get it across and you can definitely hear him on the side of the pitch. But he finds other ways to get his point across, too."
I don't think there's a chance in hell Zaha will come to us on loan. Mainly because knowing Moyes he'd be sh*tting himself in case he came good and Roberto made him look like a divvy again.
