2025/26 James Garner

I think it was in 2023 that he covered Rb in the under 21's, and was named in team of the tournament.

Depends on injuries. Livramento pulled up tonight again and feels a big ask for Reece James to go through whole tournamnent without getting injured.

However he plays RB 1-2 a season in prem so currently being judged at CM and just think there's 5-6 ahead of him in Tuchel's mind.

Oh yeah, I would never want him at Rb as his main role. But CM have alot of quality their.
Just saying his adaptability is very useful to have.

Expect other then possible injuries, Tuchel's mind is probably pretty much made up anyway..

Why cant Henderson just go as part of the coaching team if they want his prescence so much..

Because he's seen how the Coleman experiment works so well for Moyes?

Playing around with a new stats database I have access to and @Swartzy you're going to begrudgingly love this -

If you filter all U26 midfielders in top 5 leagues this year for: top 20% in possessions won per 90, top 20% in forward passes completed per 90, top 20% in progressive passes completed per 90, and top 50% in forward pass completion rate, the entire list is:

Camavinga
Anderson
El Mourabet (kid at Strasbourg who looks interesting)
Garner

That's the whole list.

I will say I think his forward passing has gotten a bit of a boost playing at fullback but still, pretty good going

Thought he really stuck at it on Saturday. We could really do with Rohl offering something so that Garner can fill in at right back for a couple of games until we sort that position out. O'Brien seems to be getting worse out there game after game, ruining the lads confidence.
