I love him, think heās a great player, I canāt recall properly but I think I did say at the time we signed him heād be a great player for usā¦.. in saying that though, I thought he got badly exposed a few times in the first half yesterday. Probably because heās not a natural right back, but he will learn quickly I have no doubt if this is to be his position from now on. I think heās a very clever footballer and doesnāt get the recognition he deserves. Iām sure both his teammates and the opposition will tell you how good he is.

He's one of those jack of all trades master of none type players that every club has and are very valuable.
Never changed my opinion on the lad, after finally seeing a couple of 5min cameos after signing, you could tell straight away. We were so bad and he was the one lad that came on and instantly looked for a forward pass.
He just got caught under Dyche for to long.

It was an obvious switch that Moyes had to make for me. If we had brought in all these center mids and had all this depth in the middle and we aren't utilizing it to allow Garner to fill a much needed hole, that is on him. I hope if things go south again in the middle with KDH at the 10 he has the decency to admit he needs to make a change. Whether this is enough to bring consistency to the team is to be determined.
He got beat a few times but Jake has been doing recently also.
I think taking Jake out of the side means Tim or Rohl get the nod in midfield to add some height back into the team.
I also think garner will play right back until jan but might get moved back to midfield when Gana goes to Afcon.

Hopefully a new deal is on the table and signed soon. Not ideal when he can sign a pre contract elsewhere. Tuchel not calling him up isn't ideal either, he might think he needs to join a fashionable club like notts forest
