Look, it was 100% a penalty today. But the PGMOL came out with a statement justifying why this wasn’t a handball. It 100% depends on your badge
Correct. He was barged from behind while trying to get some elevation with his arms. A point that the Sky pundits settled on very quickly to IGNORE...then the sheeple repeated their lies about 'What was he thinking?!' - then the manager decided he'd use the player to throw under a bus and cover up his own failings for setting us up like Accrington Stanley for a game against Arsenal.

A lot to like about Jake, my concern at the moment is for such a tall bloke he doesn’t half get beat in the air more than he should.
I like him too, every player makes mistakes, but, that was a right howler yesterday and as you say a 6'6" giant should be far more aggressive in the air. I like him playing centre back because we benefit from his pace, but, if he is to be our long term right centre back, he really needs to sharpen up his heading.

I agree - I would hope that’s something that can be coached. I suppose at a lower level or in development years you don’t have to be that good when you’re 5 inches taller than everyone. In the premier league that changes.

Should definitely, 100% be dropped now that Röhl is available and Tim has hit a bit of form. Garner to right back please, Jake is an absolute liability.
100% our best fit midfielder at the moment though..
I'd fine Jake for that error though, as we can't afford to drop him. Absolutely idiotic.

His mistake yesterday, but another goal resulting from not dealing with corners. That’s 3 home games that’s cost us- spurs, Newcastle and now Arsenal. We must have one of the tallest team in the league so there’s no excuse for not defending these better.
Equally, we don’t offer enough of a threat ourselves. Other teams have orchestrated routines while we’re still just trying to lump it to Tarkowski at the back post. Same as every free kick in the opposition half.

I thought he did ok except...
Aresenal kept scoreless except, had a lot to do with all the backs
and he's gives drive from deeper with the ball, there are passes he's making others aren't
could been the start of a couple of goals had there been more nous up top.
This post confused the hell out of me

If trossard had scored he would have been to blame

The centre halves spotted the danger immediately and pointed at OBrien to go to trossard and instead he comes inside which made it so easy for the arsenal player to then pass to trossard who was in acres of space

Trossard had so much space and time that he didn’t even get closed down after he took his shot

OBrien hasn’t got the brain to function as a full back and spot the danger
