2025/26 Jake O'Brien

The more he plays right back, the less I want to see him at centre back.
I think we're seeing the worst aspects of hopefully David Moyes last season in charge play out in the form of future players.

Ndiaye, no support, getting hacked off, no decent LB /RB overlapping
Jake out of position all season, now making errors
Why out of position, Oh yeah cos we have Coleman at RB 3 seasons past his sell by.

Spent 150m only KDH on the pitch.

Tarks/ Keane are done, surprised Sunderland didn't stick more crosses in. Making Jake look ordinary cos he he's not a RB and doesn't know when he'll have to cover some slip from the other two CB's!

I mean Moyes played Branthwaite at left back v UTD and Brighton and he struggled, should of given O'Brien a run in the middle , he's looked decent the few games he's played there but unfortunately he hasn't got prem experience which the boss wants which might result in us conceding 2 goals a game with him there.

It’s ok to just say he was crap today, and made errors that he shouldn’t make regardless of where he’s playing.

He could've also won the game but for a bit of luck with his headers...

The backpass knocked him, but he showed the will to fix it. Future CB.

If Branthwaite could play more than 3 games in a row we'd be committing to those two in the middle, not tasks and Keane.

That header had nothing to do with luck. It was a technically appalling finish.

It was in front of him, next to no pressure and all the power was in the cross. Anywhere (on target) but the keeper and it's in.

It happens but like I say, nothing to do with luck.

Looked like he was struggling today with an injury. Kept hobbling about in the first half?

💯 carrying an injury of sorts from around 5 mins in. He was struggling all game, struggling to track his man in 1st 15 mins and caught ball watching, shocking touch for the equaliser, think he lost every header despite his size, had no interest in attempting to progress beyond half way line. He struggled from very early on and got no better, Moyes should have made the sub much, much earlier.
