Yep, if we could get a 23 year old version of Gueye and a couple of pacy young wingers we'd be right in business.
As highly and rightly as Gana is rated we need someone who dictates, in every sense, from the centre. None of centre mids are of that mentality. Gana's just F cool. Garners a good lieutenant, Tim still very raw, Doucs is Doucs and Charly doesn't need the responsibility.
On point, JOB-JB partnership could do with developing behind such a player

Outstanding again.
He’s been decent but I do think people get carried away, while he’s done a solid job we definitely need a RB
We definitely need a PL level RB and LB.
We're so used to Mykolenko's League One level. While Digne continues to be one of the leagues best full backs.

O Brien had been fantastic played out of position and, tbf, Young was very good this season too.

Yeah for all the players we need this summer, I’m not sure there’s any we actually need more than a genuine number 6, rather than the 8s we tend to ask to play as 6s. Someone who can sit very naturally between defence and midfield. Shea Charles who’s on loan with Sheff Weds really impressed me when i watched them and is the type you could and should see us and Moyes targeting. Amazing that City have been so desperately signing players of late, when they had all the solutions in their Academy system a couple of years ago and let them all go.

Loved it when he ran down the wing and swung that cross in for Douc, was genuinely surprised, didn't think he had it in him.
TBF, the technique wasn't quite there.

He probably meant that cross for the far post and didn't pick Doucoure out would be my guess. Ild be astounded if he did intend it and was that accurate.

But the idea was there and the willingness to hit the line and swing one over was the right move. It'll probably give him confidence to take a FB on again and try it.

For most of the season the signing seemed completely bizarre, why spend a precious 15 million on a 4th choice centre back over a winger? However since Moyes gave the lad the nod he’s been fantastic, he looks like he has all the attributes to be a really solid player for us for a long time

You seem to be commenting on the technical aspects of football a lot lately. I think your best work is the pot stirring stuff about the stadium and Moyes’ treachery. The contrarian technical stuff doesn’t really get my juices flowing as the evidence proving you wrong is there for all to see.

Couple of corkers from October...
Its every new or young player that doesn't play.

"Well you don't see him in training he is probably gash."

"OH well he should have done more in the 90 seconds he was on the field in a game we had no chance in."

Its sad. You see so many players that don't earn their minutes that are given the benefit of a doubt every week but somebody comes to threaten that hierarchy and they go out of their way to attack the player that wasn't even given a fair shake. Managers are constantly wrong- they aren't perfect.

Ha Ha.

All my comments on players are bang on the money.

You're probably one of those who thinks Patterson is a footballer.

Leave Dave alone, he's trying out some new material.
