I didn’t think he was great today to be honest, not terrible but not an overly impressive performance. He got caught sleeping with a couple of balls on his inside and gave a corner away playing a ball that he didn’t need to. It’s fine and normal, we don’t need to act like he’s not put a foot wrong since he came in.

He's a player who's come into a problem position for us from the bench and made the position a strength again.

I like that he's calm in the box. If he cant get to a player he wont lunge in and try anything stupid. I like his distribution and the partnership with Lindstrom. He even pushed on today and whipped a ball in from near the deadball line.

It's a position sorted until the summer...comfortably so.

He’s been decent but I do think people get carried away, while he’s done a solid job we definitely need a RB

He's got a very good type of pass on him - medium to long, fast, direct, accurate and along the ground.
Not a bad cross into Doucs either.

Nah, he's a defender. I see him and Branthwaite as our centre backs for the next 5 years if we can push on up the table.

I feel the same. Two tall and intimidating defenders. I like that we’ve been seeing them both get much higher up the pitch under Moyes. Totally changes the match.

No. But would like to see how he goes in the middle of 3CB, where he can at time step forward or use that type of pass to pivot the team quickly.
Hopefully we end up with JOB and JB as 2CB and we find a proper leader at the centre of midfield - while they grow into being bosses themselves

Yep, if we could get a 23 year old version of Gueye and a couple of pacy young wingers we'd be right in business.

He’s been a game changer. Him and Branthwaite flanking Tarkowski has allowed us to press higher up,the pitch without been too exposed.

the concern i guess is whether they think this addresses the right back problem

lets shift a centre half at right back out of position and not bother to sign a proper right back in the summer.

hope that's not the case and they are still actively looking for a right back because coleman is done, patterson is never fit, ashley young is 39 and we have no one else that can play there

With 2 of those being out of contract surely a RB will be bought this summer.

Need to try and flog Patterson, he’s a waste of a squad number.
