Tbh when I watched him in the flesh last week, I thought for all his height, he really doesn’t attack headers aggressively at all. Maybe it’s a timing thing. I suspect that’s why he hasn’t had a game at centre back.

Not convinced about him yet personally.

….i mentioned this was a criticism of him in France, despite his size he wasn’t seen as particularly strong regarding defensive headers.

Honestly I watched yesterday I can't remember us winning a single header cleanly from a cross or corner, despite us being a muchbtaller team in my opinion.

Just needed to power the ball over the line.

The important thing is he's been in goal scoring chances from open play in two successive games, which is some going for a CB adapted to a RB.

This is why I stated the other day we should;t have expectations piled onto this lad, like the Toffeetalk two were doing the other day and journalists in Moyes press conference were doing.

Just leave him to come through - he's going to do it. He'll be a first team starter for years for us. It'll be at CB eventually though.

Moyes is bringing him through just as he did with Lescott. I’d take that save for the serpentine performance vs arsenal and scuttling off to city.
