Think having a pure defender behind Lindatrom freed him up to take more risks getting more. Even if I’d like to see how he and Patterson do together.
….we have one of the best defensive records in the league so I wouldn’t hit Dyche with that stick, be a bit different if we’re conceding for fun.
With 10 men behind the ball, it was drudgery watching Dyche ball - not good defence ....….we have one of the best defensive records in the league so I wouldn’t hit Dyche with that stick, be a bit different if we’re conceding for fun.
First 6 games of the season and Everton conceded 15 goals (13 goals conceded in 4 games) while O Brien sat on his backside watching Michael Keane, Ashley Young and Tarkowski perform absolutely abysmally. Good Job “Keano” had such a great Pre season. The manager did nothing but play his favouritesWe still did concede quite a few goals still , and they come in massive defeats.
At times we looked good defensive, but not all the time.
Lets go to the Right back Everton charts
New number 1 is Jake O'Brien
Number 2 is Seamus Coleman
Number 3 is Ashley Young
Number 4 is James Garner
Number 5 is Nathan Patterson
You left Pickford out of those players who performed abysmally in those early games although he got his head together ( well nearly) after that !First 6 games of the season and Everton conceded 15 goals (13 goals conceded in 4 games) while O Brien sat on his backside watching Michael Keane, Ashley Young and Tarkowski perform absolutely abysmally. Mad how adding a page break doesn’t add up to breaking a number sequence… so he’d still be number 5.Fixed.
I think the only thing we’re missing there is a lwb unless Harrison or McNeil went there.Played out of position and handled himself well.
Maybe Moyes is considering going to 3 at the back and bringing in wide players to suit.
I am not a number, I am an Everton right back.Lets go to the Right back Everton charts
New number 1 is Jake O'Brien
Number 2 is Seamus Coleman

The 4CBs are the strength in the squad. Given the weakness in the rest it makes sense to use them more to scrape through.I think the only thing we’re missing there is a lwb unless Harrison or McNeil went there.
I think it could work… can even play Myko at LCB if Real come in with an £80m bid for branners (never play Keane again btw).
Ill be devastated if he wears a poppyRooting for Jakey Obs here. What’s good for him is good for Everton and the Catholics.
He must be composed so.... lolsYoung Jake already looks a more composed player than Keane. A very welcome sight to see.
