i think coleman indicated the bench was all they changed slightly, he was named on the bench himself initially.
I voted him MOTM also, having two pacy giants at the back has a lot to be said for it.

I like him. I can see the potential.
But that was against Peterborough last night, and just like the shouts for Pattrson to get a starting place at RB on the strength of flimsy evidence like last night's opponents I wouldn't say it's a great idea to start O'Brien in a relegation survival fight on the strength of that evidence either.

No i agree with you in the fact I would like to see him play games even if in the championship. But if was a loan he had some really good offers this window. Clubs bigger than everton looking to bring him in to start . Clubs in Europe obviously rate him and so did we as we spent the only money we had on him last summer to freeze him out . This was dyches decision for whatever reason.
O brien wants to play and is supposedly gutted in what was sold to him last summer playing time wise.
Secondly when he wasn't played he looked to go to get game time to come back in summer and replace one of the center backs. These moves were blocked by dyche who is now out on his ass.
