and you know this how….

how can anyone not think this is the best option as have

IT IS
I don't KNOW this Matty, as I said in the OP, I said "I think that..."

Regards his multiclub model and finances, all the accounts and 'indicators' are in the public domain. I've read them, thought about them, and sure as eggs are eggs, I came to 1+1 = 3!!

I am an Evertonian dontcha know, and I don't do optimism, it's all doom and gloom, till I see Textor or A.N.Other(s) with the club scarf above their heads and the deal is all done, signed and dusted...

As for being the best option, how do you know..? 😜 hehe

3rd hilariously, even though I don't agree with you at all and you're just being a negative Nancy.

Palace (Textor) to Lyon (Textor) to Everton (potentially Textor).
He’s not a dud. He’s been at the club for three months. I’m merely sharing what Textor essentially said about him in his interview. That Dyche can manage the ham and eggers, but not the talented players.

O’Brien was bought for next season. If he makes his way into the team this season., all the better.

I didnt get that from the Textor interview at all.

I don't think that was what Textor said.

He posed the question about Dyche being able to manage different types of players and by inference play different formations and employ different tactics.

I don't think he suggested that he wouldn't be able to do so.

I'm getting annoyed that people are calling him a dud, raw and a waste of money. First, he's not even played for us competitively, so let's not judge in haste. Second, he's 23 years old, not 19 or 20. Third, he played 27 games for Lyon, which finished 6th in Ligue 1 in France, scoring 4 goals along the way.

Remember, there was a decent chance that we were going to lose Branthwaite over this past summer, so O'Brien in part was bought to cover that potential loss, and it seems clear that Branthwaite will leave next summer. Thelwell saw an opportunity to improve and be proactive and he jumped on it. The problem is Dyche not playing him. Maybe he'd find a place in Ireland's team if he got regular club play. I expect he plays vs. Southampton mid-week. And eventually he will be primary back up to Tark-Branth this year and a starter next year.
