Just to be clear, Arsenal have got to at least the quarters of the Champions League almost every season in recent years. Clearly that's because they have inferior players to a side that can't qualify for it.

tbh, the only reason we haven't haven't qualified for the champions league in the past three seasons is the ridiculous injury problems and disruptions to the squad we've had, if this pre-season goes swimmingly I think you'll find Everton finishing within the top four at the end of the season
