Yeah, I remember Arsenal having (I think) Richard Wright warmed up to get the last few minutes of a game at the end of the season to give him enough appearances for a medal when an outfield player went down injured, leading to the commentators asking each other which of the 2 keepers they thought would be a be a better centre back (or wherever the injured player played)
