Finally he is call up but was it because Lescott is not available, we would have to see!

But I have no doubt both of them should be call up if fits, hope he get to start, isn't Terry injure again?

some one needs to tell prescott that you dont need two jags!!!

when you got a super jag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be Honest, since he has move to CB he has hardly put a foot wrong, he is without a doubt one of the best CB in the Premier League.

completely agree, he is a great defender, hasnt made many mistakes other than the ones agsint arsenal at home, and he mustve saved us about 9 points, because i remember him making some hell tackles against reading and west ham to prevent goals...he's great...

Call me nitpicky here but I would have liked to have seen Jags go in hard on N'Zogbia before he got into the box and put Yobo in the position he found himself in (i.e. giving up a stupid penalty)

Not blaming Jags here but when they showed the replay, he tried to nick it off of him and even then, it was half hearted.

Had he gone in strong, he might have gotten the ball and even if he doesn't, the foul is outside the top of the box.

Not ideal to be sure but infinitely preferable to giving up a penalty.

Again, nitpicky seeing as how the decision making there might have been split second and I have the benefit of hindsight.

didnt see that...

...althoguh talking about hte match today, i thought jagielkas shot was good, turn and volley, wouldve been great...good for a CB though

You see that's the problem he hardly does it so you didn't even rememeber it happen and that's about how often it happen.

Failed to spot 6ft 3 striker entering the box last week and allowed the newcastle defender to get round him too easy today which led to the pen

So im guessing you have a personal problem with Jagielka too?, if you dont think he is good enough for a call up. Every defender makes mistakes, like yobo losing the ball on one of his runs, lescotts own goal against chelsea, how isnt he good?

Only 'terrible' mistakes i can remember him making was at arsenal at home, which allowed one, maybe two goals, but hes bucked his ideas up since then

Yes i have problems with players who arent fit to wear the famous royal blue, same with Neville.
I suggest all evertonians adopt the same attitude
