The banks aren't going to make the club sell their best assets at a loss.

I honestly think people are putting way to much emphasis on the 'big bad banks', it's just another exaggeration conjured up by Kenwright and co. They don't want £10m off us this summer, from what i've seen it's closer to £5m.

As i already said in another thread, LCAB also made a comment on twitter a while back about how the banks realise that we need players to function and progress, without that it will take even longer for us to pay them back. If Fellaini is sold it will either be at his request (who could blame him ?) or because Kenwright and his cronies just care about making as big a profit on their 'investment' as possible.

But if he was sold for 40 million I would still despair, because I want us to have the best players possible in the hope we might challenge for the title once more (nil satis nisi optimum and all that crap). I try to visualise how a situation where he'd say soem shiz like that would come about. Obviously loads of journos around the England camp. But I would imagine most of the questions are about an upcoming international tournament of some relevance.
So, ok, at some moment they get asked about club colleagues, but would he volunteer this stuff or was there a direct question about Fellaini going? I think it's made up tbh
