Dear me, HB, can you please explain something for me because i find it a tad baffling .A defenders job is primerily to defend, a job that Jagielka does sublimely in most people's opinion.He may be limited in terms of distribution and other ' skills' that you think he lacks, but he plays to his strengths, and he applies those attributes to our side on a consistant basis.

Despite this you attack his lack of quality and worth to us, yet you put Lee Carsley 2nd in your player of the season rankings, a player who plays to his strengths week in week out and who you'll surely agree has limited 'skills' required to be considered an integral part of our side. Yet these two players are probably two of the first names on DM teamsheet each week.

So what i'm asking is in essence, why are you prepared to accept Carsley's limited ability yet bemoan Jagielka's contribution or is that the personal tirade of insults that you throw at Phil Neville even becomming tedious to you so you fancy a brand new shiney target to aim your comedic bile at ?

Also remember........It takes till late 20's early 30's for a defender to mature properly. It takes all them years to learn defending down to a fine art. When to step, when to drop, cutting out passes without thinking as it instilled in you. Jags is only 25, as is joey an joleon is 24. these lads will become the best out their.

Jags has everything you need as a young centre backan will only get better. I already think he's our best defencive player, but not yet our best defender (that acolade go's to joleon). I rate Jags so highly after the last 20 games or so. An he'd be the first name on the teamsheet at CB for me.

An remember the dikk-head over the road carrar was hated by them tossers till he turned 28ish, He was [Poor language removed]. An matured into a top CB. These lads we have are already top players at a much younger age.

I don't know about Jags but I think we should get rid of Yakubu. He may very well have got around 20 goals this season but he's rubbish at defending corners. We'll never get anywhere with a striker so rubbish at defending corners.

I must say I've been a supporter of Mr Moyes up until this point, but to waste £11million on a striker so poor at defending corners is beyond reproach. Bring in Viv Anderson I say.
