I don’t know where this paranoia comes from, but The Premier League don’t want us relegated.

The Premier League care about the number of supporters watching matches in stadia and on TV around the world.

There isn’t a club as big as Everton to replace us from The Championship. There isn’t a stadium as impressive on TV coverage as BMD, either.

We’re an asset to the Premier League.

More a case of other than the BIG SIX they couldn't give a toss who else makes up the other 14.

If there's any motivation from the PL, it's to increase revenue.

Revenue potential is directly tied to viewership.

You don't get increased viewership by swapping Everton for Ipswich.
