2024/25 Jack Harrison

59 Premier league appearances for Everton
4 goals
4 assists

1 goal every 15 games
1 assist every 15 games

It's even worse if I just focus on this season for his 30 games, 1 goal, 1 assist.

In no lifetime, this one, a previous one or a future one, should we be signing this fella except if its just as a flatmate for Alcaraz.

Those type of stats are for teams which finish between 17th and 20th in the PL which is what we are desperately trying to move away from

Honestly add to the fact a lot of us will be paying close to £1k a season now

There’s a bunch of players we just need to wave goodbye to. It’s done. DCL is done he’ll only get injured in September anyway. Harrison shouldn’t even be in a discussion.

Get the owners out banners out of the loft

If we are even still thinking of signing players at the level of Jack Harrison...for actual money and gulp £90,000 a game, then we have learnt nothing and nothing will change.

I'll give up mate, I will literally just completely not bother because we've watched for years money absolutely wasted on complete and utter garbage on the kind of wages that should be saved for CL players, on players who contribute to us finishing right down at the bottom season in, season out.

Of course we need a squad, but I don't want a squad of players who contribute absolute nothing. Him, Harrison, Doucoure, DCL, Mcneil....all huge reasons why we are absolutely dreadful up front with dreadful decision making time after time, lack of pace time after time, awful interplay, decision making virtually non existent.

They're all not suddenly going to pluck the kind of numbers we need or any club with any hint of aspirations of finishing in the top half of the league would be looking for.

They're all 13th/14th/15th place players or too injury prone to be making a sustained impact.

Left back for the remainder of his career for me.

Preferably not here, but he’s tenacious, fit, follows instructions, positionally aware and can cross with his functioning leg from the left.

No team needs an attacking wide player with his profile and attributes any more.

… and is blown over by a stiff breeze and would lose a wrestling match with an asthmatic kitten. He’s got MLS written all over him and at 90k a week would be an absolutely ridiculous waste of Everton resources, even on loan again. You cannot seriously look up the table and have players like him anywhere near your squad.

Left back at Leeds mate, don't know about you but the much maligned Lindstrom covered his fullback far better than Harrison ever did and in what is basically a very slow team, even thinking of keeping him blows my mind.

Id take him on loan for another season if thats an option, or for a low fee and fairly low wages. Not because he is amazing in any way, but we have such a thin squad left this summer, and we need some consistancy and this could be a fairly cheap way of achieving that. All depends on how much money we have available and can use ofc, if we have loads, go and buy better.
