….most important thing is he looked fit and competitive. He didn’t shirk challenges. One mazy run took him past a few defenders but he put his shot over the bar and plenty of link play around the penalty area.

He has certainly become a better footballer already.
He has gone from a decent PL footballer to the white Pele who is going to save us from relegation all by himself !
That is when he is able to play a game of first team football of course!

I don’t think it’s so much about whether Jack Harrison is an average premier league right winger or an excellent premier league right winger. It’s the fact that he’s a premier league level right winger that makes all the difference.

When you don’t have 1 (yes one) at all in the squad it’s another glaring hole filled.

We’re now getting close to putting out a balanced team of 11 competent players, some of whom are very good on their day (DCL, McNeil, Beto as examples) all playing in their correct positions.

Last year’s games vs Arsenal, Brighton, Leicester, Wolves (1st half up until the injuries) are examples of what we’re capable of when that happens.
