Given that in this setup the wide players need to be the creative players we can't have both with such a lack of end product all the time, its an area that needs improvement or change the setup.

Tbf to Dom he was pointing at Jack and laughing it off in celebration, it wasn’t even obvious at the time until the VAR slo-mo replay showed the flick off his knee

I do have sympathy for them both. The best creative players in the league dont put quite the shift in that these lads do off the ball - dwight In particular sometimes looks knackered when he’s on the ball.

But lost possession a lot & needs to be a lot more clinical.

He is absolutely knackered. Keeps running and running, sometime miles away from the ball in order to cut off their angles, or force teams to play the ball to the defender we want to press and harrass. Really like him for that, but it’s probably a large part of why he is so frustratingly poor with the ball sometimes. Don’t know if he could manage himself through games better. Hard to tell him to chill a bit because it might be all he offers.

He’s very willing and he’s not injured, so wind him up and keep sending him back out there.

Very good in terms of effort and pressure but going forward with the ball moments of genuine quality are few and far between.

He isn't world class, but I have seen steady improvement since he's been with us, probably mostly attributed to getting fit. He is also much better when Doucs is out there, and he is in his more natural spot on the wing.
