How would they have learned the extent of his injury in the space of an hour when his medical was at Everton?
Well, tbf. Leeds have been saying he is out for another 3 weeks. All the stories are now saying 5 or more. If you take into account the fact that he has had literally zero pre-season, he likely won't be playing for teams until late October. It is possible that this has come to light as they are closing the deal.
In all fairness, if it wasn't for my 14 year old lad who wants to go at every opportunity, I'm not sure if I would be clocking up the miles anymore. As I'm not sure of how many years (or games) that he still wants to go to, I'm going to keep going as much as we can.
