Don't massively rate him but if there's no loan fee as rumoured it is good business for a player who has consistently chipped in with goals and assists. A shame about the injury but we'll have to see if there's official confirmation of a release clause in the loan deal. If so then I guess we're effectively taking over the contract.

When did he get injured? Given he is supposedly a long-term target, is it fair to say that if we hadn't fannied around all summer, we'd have been able to get him without him having a two month injury?
