2025/26 Jack Grealish

As a wider point IF he has been out on the ale he's a disgrace. For me in a game of small margins I'd expect all my players to be tee total given the financial rewards. They can bevvy as much as they want once they've hung their boots up. It's not much of a sacrifice to make tbh.

Yes I AM fun at a party before anyone comments 🤣

There's a lot of angry dad fist waving in this comment based on an if.

I know Jack likes a drink but as far as I'm aware there is zero evidence that he has been drinking over Xmas and that's the reason for his absence.

The speculation is unjustified and unhelpful.

Edit.
I've just seen the piece in the Daily Fail. Ok not a great look.
If he has been unprofessional then it's pretty damning.

If he’s ill, he’s ill simple as that. A bug can be picked up at any time, even if you’ve been drinking 2-3 days before, I know from experience as I fell ill once literally when I was on my way to a birthday night out and had to leave it early as I was blowing chunks

I'm not, and your right it could be just a rumour.

But I'd defend my wider point.

Players probably shouldn't drink full stop, not if they're serious about maintaining their levels.

People complained about Jack being unfit over Summer, then we signed him, he took his top off, and ripped with a 6 pack. You can't be a top PL player, which he is, without being professional. Think people need to just get over this "party Jack" stuff now. He's already said he's changed a lot since becoming a dad.
