2025/26 Jack Grealish

Well I’ve seen great passes from one yard to over twenty yards, not always necessarily creating a goal but taking two or three men out of the game, sometimes giving them clear chances, but you’ve seen the goal we are discussing and that pass never left Garner with anything like a clear chance, it’s not the length of the pass but where it leaves the scorer with a good chance of putting the ball in the net.
The commentator, myself and many others would disagree strongly with your assessment that the pass didn’t leave Garner with anything like a good chance. “It is set up beautifully” were the commentators words.

And I have seen no generally accepted definition of assist, anywhere, that limits them to “only where it leaves the scorer a good chance of putting the ball in the net”.

Can’t believe some are questioning what Jack has brought to the team. Player of the month in August, unanimous praise in the media, calls for an England recall by many in the media, yet he needs to do more. Yes he could score more goals, but he is creating space and chances for his teammates. You couldn’t make it up.Lets bring back Harrison and Lindstrom instead.

So how many assists is he going to get this season now we can’t count all of his assists as assists?

45 assists, 23 assists to the assister, assist xg through the roof, assisting the assister xg been converted to zh due to epic numbers and all topped off with 7 goals (would have been 8 but his goal against Palace will be chalked off end of the season because he didn't mean it so it won't count)

Pep made Walker the best right back in the world. Sadly his legs have gone and so has he. KDB was called a Chelsea flop and pundits mocked us for paying what we did. Pep turned him into arguably the best midfielder the Prem has ever seen and like Walker, his legs have gone. He dropped off a cliff last season and he was let go. Something which divided a lot of fans. Grealish had his chance but he's either too thick or too lazy to change. He admitted he was unproffessional at City. Something Pep does not put up with. I can name you a few more Pep had a pop at if you like ? When he first came in he gave Aguero a bollocking too. He listened and went on to have a great time under Pep and won loads. Like Walker and KDB did.

Pep needs people to play his tactics, period.

Any individuality outside of that is unacceptable or deemed a threat to his ego.

Fair play, that's his management style and he gets results.

But let's not pretend he's all seeing, all knowing and doesn't make decisions based on ego.

Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Eto'o etc.

I actually think there's more to come. I think the goals will start to come, its only a matter of time before a proper blammo happens

Nobody of sound mind is questioning Jack.

Do you know the good thing about him, he makes you want to say "go on Jack". The kind of player you are willing to make something happen.

I got back from work for the last 20 minutes (they saved the goals for me) and every time he got the ball i stood up and marched to the tv saying "go on Jack", make something happen.

We haven't had many players like that over the last few years.

If only he had a full back like Digne outside him. It would enhance his contribution even more. Instead he has had Garner there whose played out of position (did a commendable job mind) but because he’s got no left foot, always cut back onto his right foot and Myko who is bang average going forward. Also, imagine having a centre forward who could actually hold the ball up and play in either Jack KDH or N’Diaye? Instead we’ve got Barry and Beto.

We'll probably end up getting a boss left back and striker at around the same time Grealish goes back to City.

Proper Everton that 😆

There's no substitute for footballers.

Top players do the business no matter who is around them and he's absolutely bossing it.
