Shame that football never came home again in too many of their lifetimes.
What would Jack think of some of the absolute Divas in football today.
This is a man who shared the hallowed turfs everywhere , with the greatest players this country ever produced...Moore , Greaves , Wilson, Bally , to name just a few.
The Leeds team he played in, warriors to a man .
I despair , I truly do looking at the what is served up in todays game .
RIP Big Man ....Thoughts are with your family

Bunch of wet lettuces today.

The era of sticks and stones may break our bones is over. The era of say anything bad about my hair do and its hate speech is upon us.

Saw him and his missus in the local garden centre in Februarmy. Very badly affected by dementia sadly.

Had my trial at Middlesbrough when he was the manager.

Saw him at an after dinner thing, like years ago, but genuinely funny and down to earth.

Did him and Bobby Charlton ever sort their differences out? Sad if not.
