I'd like to sign him, looks good but so did Richard wright at that age along with a few others. Joe hart is a exeption. I'll go out on a limb here and say hart is gonna be one of the top 3 in the world... Butland could end up being a nobody! He could also end up very good!

He won't and shouldn't cost anymore than 6M and that figure it total inc add-ons. No more than 2-3M up front. He's still got a hell of a lot to prove.

Moyes doesnt play players unless they are over 30, so far from the truth but hey he wont play barkley so he must hate kids right.

All thing being equal he'd mostly rather pick an old pro than a young prospect even if the old pro has to be played out of position.

That's not to say he never plays young players of course but he does like to have players he knows he can rely on in the team.
