That discussion always amused me. Bought for 28 million and was our 4th most expensive signing yet people said he was on beans. Shame this pay stub wasn't leaked years ago.

Not a fan of delighting in former players struggling, especially one who appeared to have to work very hard mentally to get himself in a good place. He worked extremely hard for us in two relegation battles, not his fault that moshiri got had off for his purchase.

Ultimately in another tick for Thelwell in getting us a great deal instead of meeting wage demands that might hurt us long term.
