Iwobi at fulham thread

I support Everton mate. Missed the game yesterday because of work, but I’ll be ready come Saturday. Need to win these next two and it should be smooth sailing from there.

I’m just good on talking about it here. The threads are all the same every time. Overrate the signings. Debate the manager. Talk about how the Carabou Cup is our best chance at a trophy. Overreact weekly. I’m just all set. Enjoying the matches as much as I can and leaving it at that.

You will find ( hopefully) that most football team forums are much the same, I suggest you try them all.

For me it just shows that him being the “water carrier” and passing it off for better players to score wasn’t as important as it was made out to be. We are definitely more efficient and more exciting without him as he’d slow the games down tremendously.

I do think he will fit in a Marco Silva system. Silva is a bit meandering as a manager and likes to josh around with the opposition and bore them to death with pointless possession. Iwobi should work there

Bit early days for making calls like that. It may be true but we have won twice so far. And of the 5 goals, 2 have been due to defensive errors that DCL has capitalised on, and 2 have been from corners.

Not saying I disagree, but statistically, Iwobi did create lots of chances and made lots of ‘Key passes’.

Why didn't Iwobi try to head that just then ? You know instead of killing Fulhams attack stone dead.
