In 2019 i told everyone the prem league is all about goals how many you score decides where you finish.
Well now we could be in serious trouble as i dont see many goals in the team if you look at each player and see how many they average per season and it spells trouble.
Just like marcel brands this thelwell guy appears to blank this, well now he needs to react goal scorers with no prem experience is a gamble unless your a bit of a star and they cost big money and the top teams normally eat them up.
Ok looking at last years goalscorers table there are 2 players we probally should of targeted when richie left, and they are dennis (watford) and gallagher (palace) loan from chelsea , 1 got 10 and the other 8 prob would of got them for 50 million and are both still available
So…. Not only have you’ve been wrong for 3 years straight, you have also told “everyone”. The absolute cajoles on you fella, good for you. The Premier league standings at the end of the season, just like every other league in the world, professional or amateur …. (This will blow your mind here mate!) is actually decided on….….…………………………….

points.

Please can you be more frequent than every 3 years with any other revelations you may have. Many thanks

'cojones'? (not 'sex bomb' int mirror)

You can only score if people know how to , but if it's not in there make up that's when teams look bad .

Apart from D C L who has been out more than the last year who will get double figures .

Wolves finished 4th last in goals scored with only 38. They were 10th.

Man City have shown you don't need strikers.

On a serious point Moyes was saying yesterday that there not many strikers out there

Wolves finished 4th last in goals scored with only 38. They were 10th.
Brighton scored as many goals as Leeds (17th) and finished 9th. A quick scan of historical tables shows that these two results are not oddities. There are exactly two goals for a side in any game that actually matter to the result: the tying goal and the winning goal.

Insurance goals are great. They secure wins. Get them. By contrast, piling onto a team with the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh goals is fun, but it very rarely translates into points or a cup win. Not all goals (or goals kept out) are created equal.

Burnley had nearly the exact same for/against numbers last season as the prior season (one less scored, two more kept out) and went down. They had three fewer wins, which was what cost them. It really is about scoring the right goals and keeping the right goals out. It's hard to have control over that, which is why teams both bolster their attack and bolster their defense in the hopes that scoring and denying goals well in general will lead to the desired result.

Teams that score well above the league average for goals don't get relegated. Teams that concede well below the league average don't get relegated. They are simply different varieties of "average to good team" if they aren't getting it done at the other end of the pitch. Teams that finish top four or lift silverware generally do at least one really well and the other at least well...unless they're Wigan Athletic.
