Player Valuation: £70m
Arteta, Yakubu, Pienaar, Yobo, Osman, Neville, Vaughan, Anichebe, Jagielka, Baines, Billy

All injured.

Sure its having an effect on the side selection, but it's not an excuse for poor perfomance.

Also we are likely to be adding Cahill and Heitinga to that list.

Can we even put out a full team?

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Surely if you can't play your best players the performances are bound to be poorer?

So what do you suggest then Dixie?

How is it an oxymoron? It's not a contradiction in terms.

Moyes is having to shuffle his pack sure, but he has options on tactics, and motivation, that for me is someting that is not being translated to the players.

I'm just not going to accept it as an excuse any longer.

Today we should have won, but for 3 glaring errors and 1 opportunity spurned when it should have been a formality, same against Stoke, same against Wolves.

I'm not the manager, I don't get paid a million quid a year to bitch to the media.

He needs to ******* get a grip and get a grip now, and stop moaning about the problems.

I mean, how many key players have we got? It's like every player who gets injured is vital to the side, and nobody else in the squad is good enough.

can we keep this thread to injury only?
we've got so many of them and I think its good to have a thread to keep track of the progress.

As someone said on the match thread, 8 of the injured players would be good shouts for first team players. The sheer volume of injuries is bound to affect any club. Another factor is the fact that we seem to be getting injuries every fcuking game recently so we can't even pick a settled side from reserve players coz we have to chop and change evey game

We can say are we have lost because we never had Arteta, but then we lost Pienaar and now were losing because of him, and then Billy, and then Baines, etc....

So if we get all the players back apart from Arteta, and then we still lose, whats the excuse? because we don't have Arteta?

Moyes is on £3m a year mate, dont short change him FFS.

If you think a team missing Arteta, Jagielka, Baines, Yakubu, Pienaar, Billy and Neville to name but a few, isnt going to struggle, you have issues.
