I don't mind the kids playing at Left back, right back or on the wings, we have a few options in central defence and as defensive central midfielders, but no back up for Barkley or Lukaku is poor

You could say Lookman is a replacement for Deulofeu.
No adequate cover for Rom and yet again no playmaker. No more ins and one more out. Will leave us with a pathetically small squad with no cover up front or on the left. Has Koeman sold us short? This could cost us a place in Europe
So will we ever sign another forward then? If not, how will we ever progress?Isn't that the point? No one near Lukaku's standard is going to sit on our bench. Anything too far from Lukaku's standard ain't worth signing.
If you need proof of that, take a look at the reaction to the Valencia deal.
Mate the PL is elite league football. If it were easy to improve squads at this time of year why aren't all clubs doing it?
For example that Jansen (or whatever his name is) for Spurs has been a flop, of Kane gets injured Spurs much like us with Lukaku are screwed.
Why haven't they signed?
I was wondering who Gismain was. Thought we'd bought some Brazilian on the quiet. To be fair, I probably counted Mirallas three times.
Top clubs don't us this market. Look across Europe, I'd suggest we're one of the top spenders.Maybe all clubs are happy with squads, Koeman made it abundantly clear he wasn't happy with ours and wanted players. We are over reliant on Lukaku and some competition would do him good.
I don't really get your point, the markets open, clubs can and do use it.

If there is a player up to standard available. Clearly there isn't. Otherwise why aren't we signing them?I still don't get your point. If a club want to go and buy a player they can, whilst the window is open. It's been going on for years and every team has participated in buying and selling are you saying to the contrary.
