Is that kiss goodbye to Moyes then? Who would you want if so?

I don't even think he's that good really. Yeah he's pretty good at transfers and keeping the team togethor but when it counts he's just average.

and with the amount we are paying him we could either save some cash or get someone decent in.

I'm pretty sure Moyes would have bagged a few trophies if he'd been managing in the late seventies like Lee. Gordon Lee had two good seasons (with a side he'd inherited from Bingham) and two pretty poor ones.

What I really hate about Moyes is that he is doing the exact same thing that he constantly moans about players doing. Not committing to a new contract, letting his contract run down, so that he can pick and choose. Talk about having double standards.

No other club will pay him what we pay him - he's the biggest earner at the club FFS! So I have a sneaky feeling that he will stick around if Kenwrong increases his contract with say £5,000 a week.

I would not mind a new manager at all, someone with fresh ideas and not as defensive minded as Moyes. My choice would be Laudrup, experience at the highest level as a player, worked in many different countries and delivered when it has been possible. His attractive style of football is what I want us to be playing.

pretty much this for me too.

Hes never moaned about players running down their contracts.

Hes not the highest paid in the Club.

Todays its Laudrup, yesterday it was Coyle and tomorrow it will be somebody new.

Spot on I cant believe the people who are saying Moyes isn't that good and it is his fault we haven't kicked on to champs league or won a cup. The blame for Everton not kicking on lays firmly at the feet of Mr,W.Kenwright and his board (and alleged backers ).
Moyes has his faults but everyone screaming for Laudrup for football reasons did not see the most defensive team to visit GP for seasons this year, Martinez is allegedly lined up but Paul Jewel and Steve Bruce both fared better with the same budget at Wigan and in all likelihood wigan will finally drop this year.We could end up with someone like bull**** Brenda which would be an absolute disaster for us as we don't have the millions LFC have spunked on managers mistakes,
If Moyes goes I wish him all the best with my only gripe being he protected Kenwright more than he should have done.

Villa was my final straw with moyes. appreciate how he's dug us out of the gutter and how he's turned us into a proper force again within england, but he's clearly never going to take us to that next stage. Of course, it's not totally his fault and i would love him to bring home the FA Cup, because that would be a fitting as his last act as our boss. I would also like to see some real silverware on his CV for all of what he's given our club.

But he just makes the same glaring mistakes constantly. he'd won me back over for the most part of this season, because we were laying good enjoyable football. But now, it's just same old same old, continually picking neville in midfield - defensive team selections against the poorer teams at home. And then even picking heitinga vs WBA was a massive mistake - to actually have him regain his spot vs villa was attrocious and he was just so so slow before reacting to change. I know it's easy for me to say I WOULD have done this and I WOULD have done that, but i wasn't the only one screaming for him to take heitinga off even before the 2nd goal went in. He finally waited till we were 3-1 down before making positive changes when they should have come a lot quicker.

people who say we're overachieving given our finances are partly right, but when you look at our team and especially our squad, i reckon we are achieving just what we should be. Obviously kenwright takes slack for any transfer market, but moyes has to take a lot of stick for this most recent one. we had a real chance of kicking on by bringing in 2/3 players, but yet our shortlist seemed to be a about 4/5 players only, and a few of those fairly unspectacular, when we should have been prepared from the closing of the summer window.

MOYES OUT
MOURINHO IN - show us you're the special one by winning things on a shoestring budget :P

Spot on.

So when Pienaar wanted more and would not sign a new contract Moyes was fine with it? Before Moyes signed his current contract he was again creating a lot of unrest within the club, because he did not sign. He said it did not affect results, but when Lescott was being courted by City it did.

Hes not the highest paid in the Club.
That has been stated several places. But who is then?

Todays its Laudrup, yesterday it was Coyle and tomorrow it will be somebody new.
I have wanted Laudrup ever since he hung up his boots - best player ever to come out of Denmark. Just never thought he would come to England. I have been in the Jol and Lambert camp and they would be solid choices as well. Laudrup just brings something different.
