Is that kiss goodbye to Moyes then? Who would you want if so?

He's the 11th best paid manager in european club football and hasn't won a trophy.

He's on more than Conte or Klopp or Simeone.

Irrelevant. Moyes makes Kenwright bullet proof. The three mentioned may or may not prove better Everton managers than Moyes, but Kenwright couldnt take that risk. Moyes is the sole reason Kenwright remains as Everton chairman, and that is worth a fortune to him.

And if Moyes asks for a pay rise? If he wants to be the 5th best paid manager in europe?

Will you still support Kenwright giving him those wages to deliver 7th place finishes and no cups?

Time for a change it's as simple as that.

He's at the point where excuses don't wash any longer whatever the circumstances this is Everton Football Club not Coventry City and 10 years of excuse making just becomes self defeating in the end - Evertonians don't go to watch 7th and no cups.

You can tell by the increased criticisms on the forums and the booing of subs, people are just saying "had enough".

He hasn't helped himself with his contract - appearing casual at best and arrogant at worst - bit of a tool really.
ffs..

Hypothetical and i dont think it's about money for Moyes this time.

7th place given the finances the club has under this board is overachieving. We have underperformed in cups but you have to look at the players sometimes - i'm sure Moyes didnt tell them to go and play so poorly in the semi final last year. Luck plays a big part in the cups as well.

The Prem brings in the most money and obviously is the best paid league (generally) for players and managers. I dont really care if he's the 5th best paid or 300th best paid - he gets around the same as Heitinga - he earns it more than him, that's how i see it.

the issue I always find with this argument mate is he may well be the 11th best paid manager, but why is kenwright so keen to pay him that much to stay? could it be because he knows like everyone else that without moyes the standard of manager we could attract wouldnt do f all on kenwrights budget?

every other higher paid manager will be with clubs who have cash to spend and for the ones that dont will be in leagues where success isnt guaranteed by money, and its a shame the PL isnt one of those money brings success simples.
