i'd still take lambert as moyes' replacement. i don't know what the **** he's doing there but he'll be a top coach in the future.
a question about moyes - does anyone reckon he'll be the next harry redknapp? he's best know for going to teams down the bottom and keeping them up and then progressing them, same as moyes did with us. but i wouldn't trust him at a team at the top end of the table because he'll underachieve (same as what moyes has been doing with us in the last few years). I know this has been down to finances, but during his reign he's consistently failed to take us to the next step - something redknapp failed to do at spurs. They're also both known to wheel and deal pretty well given limited funds.
just a point for discussion, not knee-jerking based on today, but just wanting to know what everyone else's feelings are. would you trust any of them at a top club where they're expected to win things? i'd say no
would you trust them to get the best out of a team struggling at the foot of the table, to fight for everything and avoid relegation? i'd say yes
